Making Brochures

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               When creating a brochure for a company, you will want to include:

 

• mission statement
• contact information
• logo
• tag line
• and information that will make the client interested in your products

I have attached an image of the inside of a brochure.  I follow the rule of, “too much is not too good.”  Less writing is better, as long as you are saying what needs to be said.

I created this brochure for SUN Internation Culture & Education Group.  A company focused on bridging the gap in education between Southeastern Wisconsin and China.

Marketing Tips for Start Up Businesses

Here are a list of great ways to market your small startup business without breaking the bank, but that do take time:

• First, create a logo this can be done through Publisher 2007, which I find is simpler than other programs
• Create business cards and make sure to utilize the same logo and coloring (publisher has business card templates)
• If you don’t have a website, get one, you might have to spend up to 400 dollars, but it is a great investment
• Apparel, get shirts printed and pass them out to friends or you could sell them on your new website
• Use craigslist, it is free and a great marketing tool
• If you have an event post it in the grocery stores, craigslist and use the newspaper
• Teach, if you have a skill, teach it, pass out business cards to promote your business through teaching
• Network, network, network – If people don’t see you how will they know what you are about!
• Lastly,  YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Sensationally Sweet Treats, LLC

                                                                                                                         I have been working with a few companies developing strategies for marketing.  Sensationally Sweet Treats, LLC is a gourmet sweets company that works out of Racine, WI.  Lara and Jen are the owners and they offered me the opportunity to create their logo.

I made their logo but also gave them some more marketing advertising tips for extending their company to other cities.

Danancy Candy, LLC

This is the back of a business card I created for Nancy Danancy, a chocolatier.  It took about one hour to finalize this project.  I am now working on her website development. 

She loved this and that made me super happy.  It is always nice when someone appreciates your work!
